Cinch Magazine was launched in January of this year to connect horse-lovers everywhere with relevant horse stories and information put together in a free, easy to read, on-line publication. The design, content and uniqueness of the articles and special research projects will have you waiting for each issue.
This year articles will encompass the testing of bitless bridles (will take place over a couple of years), feature articles on specific and unique breeds of horses and always a wealth of articles related to health care and training. Of course the magazine will also feature stories from it's readers and is also hosting a photo contest.
The magazine is based right here in Pelham, operated by two local writers on a not-for-profit basis. Cinch Magazine relies on its sponsors to help cover the costs involved in production of both the magazine and website as well as the printed newsletter they are planning.
"We want to be able to serve the horse community better. By going to our website readers can comment to Cinch through our polls. This allows us to determine what our readers want from Cinch Magazine," says Heather Frydendalh, one of the magazine's founders.
