FEI Seminar for Dressage Stewards Announced |

Blainville, Quebec will be host to an FEI Seminar for FEI Dressage Stewards on June 23-24th, 2009. The seminar will be conducted by FEI Dressage Steward General, Jacques Van Daele of Belgium for FEI Groups IV, V, VI and if space permits, National Federation Senior Stewards.
Van Daele is the chief commissioner for the Belgian Cavalerie School, has been a national dressage, show jumping and eventing judge since 1980, an FEI dressage judge since 1995, FEI WDC judge in 1999 and FEI Honorary Steward General Dressage since 2004, officiating at three Olympic Games and four World Equestrian Games.
“It is very exciting for Canada to host Jacques Van Daele,” noted Margaret Murdoch, chair of the Dressage Canada Officials Committee. “He is Steward General for the FEI, which means he is head over all Stewards General of member countries of the FEI. This is the first time we have been able to host such a Clinic in Canada.”

Day II
1. Vet examinations, horse inspection and passport control
2. Procedure for horse inspection in FEI competitions

5. Legal procedure and sanctions
6. Questions
All seminar participants will be present at the horse inspection and will visit stables and the training arenas with Van Daele
