Ian Millar Finishes Tied for 14th at the 2009 FEI World Cup Finals

Ian Millar finished tied for 14th place at the 2009 FEI World Cup Finals held in Las Vegas, NV, April 15-19th. Riding, In Style, a 14-year old Holsteiner gelding owned by Susan Grange and Lothlorien Farm, Thursday night's opening speed round saw Ian finishing in 28th position with a time of 67.77 seconds.
Friday, the scores were carried over, with Ian incurring four faults in that day's event, leaving him in 27th position overall and leading him into Sunday's Finals. In Style took Ian clear in the first round, but had 4 faults in the second round, finishing up tied for 14th place. Keean White of Cambridge, ON, also representing Canada finished 24th overall.
Meridith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany won the 2009 World Cup Final on Shutterfly, making it her third World Cup Championship. For complete results of the event, click here.
